Artist Jenny Saville is a contemporary painter based in the UK and her work is very layered and dynamic. These are figurative works that have become very abstract.

Claire Kirkup is a bold abstract artist whose work I find much inspiration in. She is a contemporary Australian artist based in Melbourne.
